This includes maintaining and expanding critical partnershipswith Accounting for Nature, clients, governments, investors, and global sustainability frameworks.Reporting to the Board, the CEO will drive operational excellence, market credibility, commercialperformance, and stakeholder engagement, while upholding the highest levels of integrity, governance and leadership.Responsibilities Co-develop and deliver a compelling commercial strategy aligned with Nxts mission and Board Lead business planning, forecasting, and performance trackingincluding revenue, cash flow,and profitability targets. Oversee the successful commercialisation of existing pilot products: carbonplus, natureplus, and Establish new strategic partnerships and funding opportunities that enhance Nxts marketpositioning and sustainability. Champion the integration of digital technologies to enhance verification, reduce transactioncosts, and enable scalability. Identify and develop new commercial productsOperations & Governance Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, ensuring legal compliance, operational efficiency,and risk management. Work with the Board to ensure the organisation adheres to corporate governance standards andmaintains its reputation for scientific and commercial integrity. Manage risk frameworks, reporting protocols, and financial oversight systems. Lead the design, delivery, and evolution of Nxts product suite in response to market demandand regulatory developments. Develop market intelligence capabilities to anticipate environmental policy trends and inform Oversee marketing, investor relations, and go-to-market activities to drive awareness andadoption of Nxts offerings.People & Culture Build and inspire a high-performing, values-driven team, fostering a culture of innovation,accountability, and excellence. Design people policies that attract and retain top-tier talent in environmental markets,technology, and impact investing. Set performance goals and embed a learning and feedback culture aligned with organisationalobjectives.External Engagement & Market Influence Act as the public face and lead spokesperson for Nxt, engaging with media, partners,government, and investors. Advocate for scientifically credible environmental credits and labels as market norms. Represent Nxt in relevant global forums, alliances, and thought leadership opportunities.Qualifications & Experience Proven senior executive experience, ideally in environmental markets, sustainability, orinvestment-backed ventures. Track record in building and scaling mission-led commercial ventures with financial discipline andstrategic agility. Deep understanding of carbon and biodiversity markets, environmental credit frameworks, andnature-related financial disclosures (e.g. TNFD, CSRD, ISSB). Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across commercial, science, and technology domains. Familiarity with nature-based project development, assurance and certification processes. Knowledge of commodity value chains and real asset sectors (e.g. agriculture, forestry,extractives). Capital raising experienceparticularly in early-stage and mission-aligned ventures. Strong financial literacy and ability to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a record of high-level stakeholderLOCATION & TRAVEL Preferred locations: UK (e.g. London) or Australias East Coast (e.g. Melbourne, Sydney,Brisbane).
