Learn more at The Opportunity As the Executive Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs for Australia & New Zealand, you will oversee the Medical and Scientific Affairs function across both office and field-based teams. Through strong leadership and coaching, you will set the strategic and operational direction for the Quality Use of Medicines, Medical Excellence, and Therapeutic Area teams, driving them to achieve key business outcomes. In this role, collaboration is keyyou will partner closely with functions beyond your direct reporting line, including Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Quality, and Clinical Trials. Additionally, you will work in close alignment with the APAC Medical Affairs (MAF) team to inform, shape, and drive regional initiatives and ensure successful outcomes. Responsibilities Set and drive the overarching medical strategy for ANZ organisation in line with global and regional direction Motivating and leading a large team of highly skilled professionals with a clear vision and direction Supporting and advancing the principles of Quality Use of Medicines Elevating Medical Excellence initiatives including Medical Capability Development, Professional Education and Digital Capability Risk Minimisation Management (RMP) TGA Safety Point of contact Health Care Compliance Skills & Competencies People Leadership leading a large team, and delivering through others Lead cross-functional interactions and collaboration Demonstrates strong business acumen Patient and customer centricity Credo based leadership including compliance mindset Experience Or Qualifications That Are Critical To This Position Medical Doctor (MD) Extensive experience in Pharmaceutical Industry Company Culture Competitive remuneration package.
