About Us: Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio based in Australia making original, long form animated shows distributed on Youtube. Our channel has over 18 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our latest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 350 million views on the pilot alone and we have a lot more still to come.Job Information: Glitch Productions is seeking a talented in-house Photographer/Videographer based in Sydney, Australia with experience in e-commerce, merchandising and entertainment-based products, elevating the overall quality of our to-market visual content. This role will be responsible for the planning, shooting & editing of high-quality photo and video assets, which will be distributed across social channels to a cumulative following of over 23 million, website, campaigns, events and more. Working closely with the marketing team, you''ll deliver anything from polished merchandise or product shots, to improvisational and comedic video content, showcasing your unique understanding of the Gen Z and Millennial audiences, fandom and our dedicated Glitch fanbase. This role will involve working for Glitch Productions'' brands, which in turn involves our animated series like Murder Drones and The Amazing Digital Circus.Your duties will include:Plan, shoot & edit high-quality photo and video content for unlimited usage across franchise/marketing requirements including website, social channels, campaigns, events and internal communications.Perform end-to-end editing, re-touching & varied output delivery: logging, sequencing, colour correction, re-touching, sound balancing and final output.Managing the set-up, operation and maintenance of our in-house studio equipment including lighting, audio and set dressing.Maintain high-quality across varying formats and aspect ratios.Strong asset & file management organizing footage, maintaining file structures and managing marketing video libraries. Track, archive & catalogue content in line with production workflows.Collaboration & WorkflowWork closely with Marketing, Creative, and Production teams to understand project goals and creative direction, with flexibility towards key deadlines.Brief and collaborate with motion designers, editors, sound designers, and 3D artists when needed.Manage pre-production planning (storyboards, shot lists, schedules), ensuring alignment with brand and campaign objectives.Brand & QualityEnsure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and meets studio quality standards.Contribute creative ideas to elevate storytelling and differentiate the studio''s marketing presence.Ensure consistent visual identity across platforms and campaigns.A successful candidate will have:Proven experience with both photography and videography, ideally within creative industries, e-commerce and/or merchandising.Proficient post-production skills across re-touching, colour correction, sequencing, sound balancing and delivery across multiple file types.Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop and/or After Effects).Experience shooting with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and basic audio recording.Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms/merchandising alongside social media video requirements and trends.Flexibility in scheduling, feedback and revisions, and availability in working towards key deadlines.Comfortable filming in fast-paced, dynamic environments, managing shoots, reading and maintaining shot lists, and directing talent where required.A portfolio showcasing broad video and photo experience across e-commerce, merchandising, apparel and creative/entertainment industries. Bonus Skills:Experience working within animation, games, VFX, or creative studios.Colour grading experience (Lumetri, DaVinci Resolve a plus).Familiarity with the Glitch Productions catalogue of shows alongside studio production environments.A driver''s license & car preferred, for transport of shoot materials and the occasion on-location shoot.Our valuesGlitch Productions has an art-first mindset.
