Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you willdoanalysis, provide advice, and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support effective policy implementation and reform.Your responsibilities will include:Research andanalysecomplex scheme design issues,identifyemerging risks, and recommend evidence-based solutionsProvideexpert advice to stakeholders to support the interpretation and implementation of policy initiativesBuild andmaintainrelationships to engage stakeholders in developing regulatory design instruments and guidelinesMonitor and evaluate policy and reform implementation to ensure alignment with desired outcomesMentor and support team members to meet governance and quality standards in delivering policy prioritiesPrepare high-quality reports, briefs, and correspondencetosupport agency and government decision-makingCoordinate communications, HR, and procurement activities within the branch to ensure effective operationsAbout youAt Clerk Grade 9/10, this role requires the ability to manage complexity, apply sound judgement, and influence outcomes, whilemaintainingalignment with legislative requirements, Governmentprioritiesand broader regulatoryobjectives.Prior knowledge of the insurance scheme is not necessary.You are a capable and confident policy professional. Youdemonstratestrong analytical thinking, clear writtencommunicationand the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others. You are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, managing competingprioritiesand adapting to changing policy and regulatory contexts whilemaintaininga strong focus on outcomes.Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role startingat $129,464 base plus superannuationClick Here to access the Role Description.
