About the RoleWere seeking a motivated Designer / Architect to join our growing Defence team and contribute to the delivery of complex, high-profile projects across Australia. Working as part of a collaborative project team, youll assist senior staff while taking responsibility for planning, design, documentation, and client coordination. This role offers the chance to apply your design and technical expertise to projects of national importance, while also building strong relationships with Defence clients, consultants, and contractors. Youll contribute across all project stages, from early design through to construction delivery, and provide guidance to junior staff. About YouYou are a skilled Designer or Architect with strong technical and design ability, who enjoys contributing to meaningful projects with a high level of detail and complexity. Youre confident working autonomously under the guidance of senior leaders and thrive in a team environment where collaboration is key. Youll bring: 35+ years experience post-graduation, ideally with exposure to Defence or government projects. Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite, 3D software, Microsoft Suite, AMS, and New Forma. Well-developed design and documentation skills across all project stages. Solid understanding of building materials, construction methods, codes, standards, and regulations. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey design intent. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle delegated tasks with limited supervision. A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to support and share knowledge with junior staff. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
