Aje was created in 2008 to translate the effortless Australian lifestyle into fashion.Designed for an elegance grounded in ease, our garments empower our customers to feel relaxed, assured and beautiful.Our company strives to invite freedom of self-expression in each architectural store environment, bringing our customers a confidence and beauty that elevates their every day to an occasion.Join icon fashion house Aje as a Digital & Graphic Designer at our Aje Head Office in Redfern.About this opportunity:Maintain an elevated and innovative online presence through exceptional ecommerce design and optimised UX.Translate seasonal campaigns and brand communication into engaging digital solutions across ajeworld.com and all ecommerce touchpoints.Design elevated and effective site experiences with an editorial approach.Partner with the Ecommerce Manager to brief and communicate functionality/strategy to external developers.Contribute to the design system and style guide, ensuring consistency across all digital marketing assets.Collaborate with CRM and email teams on EDM concepts and designs that drive engagement and CTR.Design content and layouts for social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook.Create and execute high-quality assets for social, paid media, newsletters, and performance channels.Develop compelling content for Instagram Stories, organic feeds, and digital campaigns.Design and produce video, motion graphics, gifs, and clips for ecommerce and social channels.Support PR with press pack, press release, and event invitation design.Create marketing materials for retail including POS, in-store signage, packaging, and seasonal campaigns.Deliver exceptional domestic and international collateral such as lookbooks, showrooms, order books, and briefing booklets.Create internal documents such as brand guidelines, seasonal briefings, and training materials.Assist in concept development and production of branded packaging and stationery.Design seasonal packaging moments (Christmas, Mothers Day, etc.) for both in-store and online.Propose creative surprise and delight packaging concepts for customers.Assist with pre- and post-production, including retouching, resizing, and artwork finalisation.Oversee image editing processes with accuracy and brand consistency.You will bring:Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably for premium fashion or lifestyle brandsStrong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, FinalCut/Premiere Pro/Davinci Resolve.A basic understanding of Figma is a plusExperience in motion image design and the creation of (moving image) social media creative contentEye for detail and strong visual understanding of brand DNAAbility to organise and prioritize workload to meet several deadlines at the same timeExceptional stakeholder management skillsA track record of delivering results against marketing, communication and digital expectationsExperience in a fast-paced, high traffic, creative work environmentExcellent problem-solving skillA positive & collaborative attitude; willingness to bring the very best to the teamAlways up to date on digital design trends and new developments within UI designGood technical understanding of site development, connected to digital and UI designStrong foundation in typography and experience with image layout and gridsPrevious experience producing large volumes of digital assets, including motion graphics and AnimationStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate creative ideas and briefsWhat do we offer?
