What''s the role?Are you exceptionally organised, proactive and adaptable? We''re seeking a motivated Executive Assistant to support Senior General Managers across The Australian, Vogue Australia, Vogue Living and GQ Australia (News Prestige).You''ll partner closely with senior leaders in a critical part of the business, enabling strategic and commercial outcomes and keeping a fast-paced executive team running smoothly. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Sydney at our Surry Hills office.What You''ll doProvide day to day support to Senior General Managers, anticipating needs and removing roadblocks.Own complex diary management, travel arrangements, meeting prioritisation, event invitation, screening calls, emails and other forms of correspondenceProactively oversee financial approval requests and meticulously reconcile expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Drive the scheduling and coordination of regular, high-impact meetings for direct reports and key stakeholder relationships.Act as a primary point of contact, adeptly managing and prioritising queries and requests with discretion and efficiency.Build strong relationships across the business to facilitate timely decisions and information flow.Handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of care.Oversee comprehensive administrative functions, ensuring the smooth operation of the team.Who are you?You are an experienced Executive Assistant with a proven track record of supporting senior executives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.Detail orientated with strong communication skills both written and verbalProactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-makingAble to work to tight deadlines, juggle multiple priorities and thrive working in a busy and collaborative work environmentSolid administration and computer skills, particularly across MS Office, Google suite and enterprise AI tools.A motivated self starter who is results driven with a can do attitudeNews Benefits News Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients and communities.
