About the roleWe''re looking for a hands on D365 F&O Technical Specialist to take ownership of the technical, back-end operation of our Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations platform and its supporting Azure ecosystem.This is a technical BAU role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the platform managing environments, integrations, incidents, releases, and Azure infrastructure rather than functional finance configuration or end user training.You''ll join at an exciting time as D365 continues to roll out globally, moving from implementation into long term, scalable support.What you''ll be doingOwning the technical health and stability of D365 F&O in a live, cloud-based environmentManaging and supporting the Azure environment underpinning D365 (environments, security, monitoring, access, licensing)Supporting and troubleshooting integrations across D365, third party ISVs, Microsoft 365, and external systemsActing as the technical escalation point for complex incidents, working with Microsoft and delivery partners when requiredManaging environments, deployments, fixes, and regular Microsoft platform updatesSupporting hyper care during go lives and collaborating with project teams during global rolloutCreating and maintaining technical documentation (architecture, integrations, runbooks not user training guides)Working closely with functional support, project teams, and business stakeholders to keep the platform running smoothlyWhat we''re looking forStrong experience supporting or implementing D365 Finance & Operations from a technical / back-end perspectiveSolid Microsoft Azure engineering experience (cloud environments, platform support, infrastructure)Hands on experience with integration services (e.g. Logic Apps, APIs, Data Factory, Synapse or similar)Experience using Azure DevOps for incident management, releases, and environment trackingA practical, problem-solving mindset and confidence working in a lean support teamThe ability to collaborate across technical, functional, and business teamsNice to have (but not essential)Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) in a D365 ecosystemSome understanding of finance processes (GL, AP, procurement) to help with technical troubleshootingExperience supporting systems through hyper care and post go live stabilizationAbout the teamYou''ll be part of the Finance Group, within the D365 F&O Support team a small, close-knit team focused on keeping a global platform running smoothly as it grows.The team works side by side day-to-day, with regular check ins and plenty of collaboration, but without micromanagement people are trusted to own their space and get things done.You''ll work closely with functional finance specialists, developers, ISVs, and delivery partners, becoming the go to person for the technical side while others focus on business processes.Why join us?Work on a large scale, global D365 platform with real complexityBe part of a small, trusted team with clear ownership and impactShape how D365 is supported and scaled long termHybrid working with flexibility and autonomyAbout WiseTech GlobalAt WiseTech Global we are united in our mission to create breakthrough products that enable and empower those that own and operate the supply chains of the world.
