We are proud to serve our community through operating with transparency, integrity and in the best interests of the Bayside community to deliver exceptional service.About The RoleThe City Performance directorate underpins the delivery of service excellence by providing expertise in financial services, governance and business technology.Provide accurate, timely, compliant and transparent financial information, analysis and advice to support informed business decision making by the Executive, Leadership Team and other stakeholders.The role is responsible for maintaining accounts payable transactions, subsidiary ledger and reconciliations.You Can Also Expect ToVerify and process all invoices, credit notes and bond refunds in an accurate and timely manner and to ensure compliance with process, controls and GST legislation.Prepare weekly EFT payments and ensure the balance is reconciled against the ledger.Maintain accurate records and reconcile accounts to their statements to ensure accurate and correct payments.Prepare AP end-of-month closure and reconciliation.Liaise with the Procurement team and other business units on finance process and control rectification.Provide support on internal and external audit.We Are Looking For Someone Who HasMinimum Higher School Certificate or equivalent and/or relevant experience.Experience in accounts payable.Our Benefits And Culture3 extra days off during Christmas each year15 days sick leave each year2 days health and wellbeing leave each yearGym membership discountsAdditional parental leave entitlements for both parentsApplyBefore submitting your application, please take the time to read the Position Description by clicking the paperclip button located in the top right section of this page.
