You will oversee a team of talented accountants, collaborate with firm directors, and ensure the delivery of best-in-class accounting services. Your leadership will be integral in standardising practices, championing compliance, and promoting operational efficiencies that support our networks sustained growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and hands-on management for accounting operations across all firms within the network.Develop, implement, and monitor consistent accounting policies, processes, and systems to ensure uniformity and quality standards are met across all locations.Act as the technical authority on complex accounting matters, providing guidance on regulatory changes, reporting standards, and industry best practices.Mentor, develop, and motivate accounting professionals at all levels, fostering a culture of professional growth, collaboration, and continuous learning.Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, management accounts, and compliance reports to ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.Work closely with managing partners and directors to identify opportunities for business development, operational improvement, and service expansion.Lead network-wide initiatives to adopt new technologies, automate processes, and enhance client service delivery.Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards, acting as the key liaison with regulatory bodies, auditors, and other stakeholders.Drive change management efforts to support integration, growth, and the achievement of strategic objectives across all three states.Report regularly on network performance, risks, and opportunities to the board and executive management.About YouYou are an accomplished accounting professional with a proven track record of leading teams in multi-site or multi-firm environments. Your expertise encompasses both the technical nuances of accounting standards and the operational realities of managing diverse teams and workflows.
