Job OverviewJoin our team as a Mechanic on our afternoon shift, part of a community-driven team passionate about making a difference.Work on a modern fleet, grow your expertise and benefit from mentorship opportunities in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality, cost-effective mechanical maintenance across plant and fleet assets.Diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems to manufacturer standards.Maintain accurate electronic service records and safety documentation.Mentor apprentices and support new team members in their development.Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational goals and boost team productivity.Essential QualificationsMinimum 12 months post-trade qualified.Certificate III in Automotive Engineering (Heavy Vehicle or Heavy Mobile Plant).MVRIA Mechanic''s Licence.Class C Driver''s Licence (Class HR Driver''s Licence and other relevant qualifications desirable).Strong diagnostic abilities with hydraulic and electrical systems.Excellent communication skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset.Benefits & Working ConditionsSalary: From $98,703 $102,775 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.Additional allowances: $16,262.48 market allowance, $1,608.46 pump allowance, $9,013.16 shift allowance.Permanent full-time 38hour 9day fortnight, afternoon shift 1:00 pm10:20 pm (MondayThursday, first Friday 12:004:00, second Friday RDO).Flexible work on public holidays.Fitness passport, employee assistance program, annual flu shots, health and wellbeing programme and novated lease options.Application Deadline & InterviewApply by 11:59 pm Wednesday 28 January 2025.
