Overview Our client, a well-established manufacturing company renowned for delivering high-quality products to global clients, across the medical device and FMCG industries, is currently recruiting a CNC Machinist/Programmer to join their team. They are committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, providing a supportive and collaborative work environment. Responsibilities Manufacture and maintain precision tools, dies, moulds, jigs, and fixtures using manual and CNC machinery. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create accurate tooling. Program and optimise CNC machines using CAM software. Operate CNC milling machines, EDM machines, lathes, and surface grinders. Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain efficiency. Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments. Maintain tools, machines, and equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance. Mentor apprentices and contribute to team development initiatives. Ideal Candidate Minimum 4 years experience in toolmaking and CNC programming within heavy manufacturing. An understanding of injection and blow moulding processes would be ideal. Skilled in CAD/CAM software and CNC machine operation. Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills. Team player with strong communication skills and commitment to safety and quality. Why This Role?
