Senior Project Manager - Civil

Company My client is a locally owned and operated civil construction company that offers a wide range of services across various sectors, including civil, commercial, industrial, and environmental. With extensive experience in both large-scale projects and minor works, their team delivers comprehensive solutions, ranging from design and construction to specialised civil, road, and rail works. Role We''re seeking a skilled Project Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager. In this role, you''ll work closely with the Construction Manager, COO and other Project Managers on various civil projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will need a strong working knowledge of civil construction elements such as bulk earthworks, subdivisions, urban regeneration, road and urban spaces construction, and underground services. Responsibilities Provide efficient management of civil construction projects, working closely with key stakeholders and Site Supervisors. Ensure that the project meets program deliverables, targets and key project milestones as set by the contract, implementation plan, programme and clients. Ensure that all testing and hold points are documented in the ITP as per the Program and Specification. Efficiently procure materials/supplies and subcontractors in line with the purchasing procedures of the organisation. Write and review site documents including SWMS''s and JSEA''s to ensure they are site specific. Set the benchmark for Work Health and Safety practices on site and implement company policy and procedures. Candidate You will have a Bachelor''s Degree in Construction Management or similar with a minimum of 10 years experience in civil construction elements such as bulk earthworks, subdivisions, urban regeneration, road and urban spaces construction, and underground services.
