The voluntary role of Board Chair is a pivotal governance leadership opportunity to guide the strategic direction of the Institute and lead a values driven Board through its next exciting phase. The voluntary Board comprises a select group of leaders and GLF alumni from private, public, and notforprofit organisations who are deeply committed to steering and supporting the Institute to build great leaders for our State. The Chair will be an influential governance leader with the ability to foster relationships across industry, government, community, partners and sponsors critical stakeholders in the Institutes mission. We are seeking a candidate who brings proven experience as a Chair or wellestablished NonExecutive Director, with a highly developed understanding of governance and Board leadership; governance qualifications (AICD or similar) and a track record of effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration across diverse sectors; a deep affinity with the Institutes purpose, vision and values; strategic acumen, warmth, authenticity, empathy and a collaborative and inclusive leadership style; the ability to cultivate philanthropic and fundraising support aligned with the Institutes mission; a passion for contemporary leadership development and a commitment to social impact.
