Head of Lending Assessment Join to apply the Head of Lending Assessment role at People First Bank. This is a newly created role that will support People First Bank as it moves through an exciting period of growth, expansion and organisational redesign to create a new kind of bank. Your Role As the Head of Lending Assessment, you will play a critical part in shaping our lending operations and ensuring our credit assessment capability and decisions support a seamless, peoplefirst customer experience. You will lead and inspire a large, highperforming team to provide endtoend management of the People First Banks credit assessment operations, ensuring our processes are robust, efficient, customercentric, compliant and aligned to our strategy. Specifically, You Will Align lending assessment operations with the Banks strategy, vision and service culture. Coordinate teams and resources to maximise efficiency, value and customer outcomes. Provide expert advice on strategy, risk, compliance and operational decisions. Drive improvements in lending systems, processes and ways of working. Oversee loan assessment operations, ensuring productivity, service levels and workflow efficiency. Use data and metrics to inform decisionmaking and track performance and risk. Build and lead highperforming teams while maintaining governance, compliance and WHS standards. What You Bring You are a strategic and influential leader who demonstrates strong communication and collaboration skills at all levels. With proven experience in coaching and mentoring, you can inspire, motivate and develop teams while driving change and transformation across complex lending operations. We Also Seek Significant experience in credit or lending operations management within financial services. Previous Delegated Lending Authority (DLA). Strong strategic, operational and technical capability. Demonstrated strengths in planning, organisation, change leadership and transformation. Proficient in structured problemsolving, documentation and reporting. If successful, you will be required to obtain and maintain Responsible Person status under People First Banks Fit and Proper Policy.
