About the Role Are you ready to take the lead in shaping Nova Systems tax strategy? Were looking for an experienced Tax Manager to own and drive our tax function, delivering expert advice across corporate, indirect, and international tax domains. Please note: This is a parttime permanent role based in Adelaide, offering flexibility with a mix of office and remote work. What you will be involved in Overseeing tax compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions Reviewing and coordinating preparation and lodgment of income tax, GST, VAT, and FBT returns Leading development and maintenance of tax policies, procedures, and internal compliance processes Engaging with senior stakeholders and contributing to papers for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board Managing tax audits, ATO reviews, and liaising with external advisors and authorities Providing strategic tax advice to support commercial decisionmaking Driving tax planning initiatives to optimise Novas tax position Supporting international tax matters including transfer pricing and global mobility Monitoring and interpreting changes in tax legislation and advising on impacts Preparing technical position papers and contributing to executive leadership and board reporting Leading and mentoring a small team, including direct oversight of a Tax Accountant Collaborating with finance and broader business teams on ad hoc queries and projects What we would like from you Tertiary qualification in Accounting and CA / CPA accreditation Strong experience in tax, including exposure to FBT, GST, and income tax Management experience is highly desirable Knowledge of international tax principles and transfer pricing is desirable Proven ability to lead tax processes and deliverables Professional services or commercial experience preferred Commitment to compliance, continuous improvement, and strategic thinking Life at Nova it all adds up!
