You will provide crucial support and coordination for Emergency Relief Agency volunteers, working closely with the Administration Coordinator to ensure the smooth delivery of Emergency Relief services, meeting the demands of our valued consumers.As an Emergency Relief Coordinator, you will:Ensure program compliance with service standards and guidelines.Provide oversight of referral trends and service demand.Oversee storage and distribution of resources efficiently.Collaborate with external agencies to maintain referral pathways (e.g., NILS program, Financial Counselling).Respond to emergencies in line with organizational values, e.g., bushfire relief.Offer hands-on support to volunteers, clients, and stakeholders for immediate client needs.Provide leadership, direction, and support to ER volunteers, including rostering and training.Support management of ER volunteer staff and a small team of Lead volunteers.Assist in collating monthly data for funding body reporting.Ensure legal compliance, availability of policies, and adherence to regulatory requirements.Benefits of working at UnitingOur work isnt easy, but it matters.
