We are a well-established and highly reputable company, seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Reliability Specialist/Salesperson to enhance our team in the Rockhampton region.The Position:As a valuable member of our dedicated sales team, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our comprehensive range of mechanical seals, bearing isolators, gland packing, seal support systems, pump repairs, and new pumps to both new and existing customers. Your focus will heavily involve business development and servicing existing customers.In addition to leveraging your robust technical expertise and industry knowledge, you will demonstrate unwavering commitment to customer ownership and the delivery of top-notch service. Building professional relationships with customers is paramount, and you will actively identify opportunities for additional product sales and support within the territory.To excel in this role, you should possess:Experience with pumps and seals.Business acumen ensuring alignment with company and customer goals.Ability to attentively understand customer requirements and effectively communicate achievable solutions.Proficiency in delivering outcomes across various customer levels, from technicians and engineers to procurement and senior management.Creative problem-solving skills to offer alternative solutions that secure new business and ensure long-term relationships.Solid mechanical/technical knowledge and hands-on experience with industrial rotating equipment.Motivation and comfort with cold calling.Willingness to travel.Preferred qualifications include a suitable engineering qualification, though not essential. Additionally, strong computer skills, excellent organizational and time management abilities are essential.This role reports to the National Sales Manager, with key support personnel available in a pre-sales capacity.
