Senior Estimator

Join a growing civil contractor delivering a solid pipeline of infrastructure and civil works across Geelong, Melbourne and regional Victoria. This is a key opportunity for an experienced Senior Estimator to take ownership of tenders from initial review through to final submission. You will play an important role in securing upcoming work, supporting tender strategy and working closely with leadership and delivery teams. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents Preparing take-offs, BOQs and accurate cost estimates Issuing RFQs and assessing subcontractor and supplier pricing Identifying risks, value engineering opportunities and pricing gaps Supporting methodology, programme input and tender strategy Preparing final submissions and assisting with handover to delivery teams About You To be successful in this role, you will bring solid estimating experience within a civil contractor environment and be confident managing tenders with minimal supervision. You will ideally have: Proven experience in civil construction estimating Strong capability across take-offs, pricing and tender submissions Experience pricing packages such as earthworks, drainage, pavements and concrete works Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and commercial documentation Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail Confidence liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders The Opportunity This role will suit someone who enjoys being handson, takes pride in producing accurate tenders and wants to be part of a contractor where their contribution is visible and valued.
