Consulting Manager Digital Advisory Contractor (Canberra or Melbourne Location)

The Opportunity As a Consulting Manager in ISGs Advisory practice, you will work on client projects in the Public or Enterprise sectors, leading initiatives such as initial assessments, project planning, detailed analysis, solution recommendations, market insights, strategy development, provider research, financial modelling, RFx development, contract negotiations, and postselection administrative actions. You will leverage data and technology to help organizations unlock growth and competitive advantage. Responsibilities Provide consultation services in digital transformation, outsourcing, project management, financial modelling and commercial/technical negotiation. Build organisational change capabilities and help clients adopt digital enterprises. Gather client information and use frameworks to develop assessment materials for decisionmaking. Lead planning and development of project deliverables, manage staffing, budgets, work plans, scope, milestones, issue and risk management. Develop simpletomedium complexity financial models for vendor proposals and RFx evaluation. Execute valuecreation strategies that deliver gamechanging outcomes for ISG clients. Role Requirements Up to 7 years recent experience in sourcing or consulting engagements, including strong RFx/procurement activities. Experience in organisational transformation (shared services, operational improvement, outsourcing/offshoring). Desirable expertise in Digital & Technology, Architecture, Change Management, Networks, Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain & BPO. Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Working knowledge of service provider landscape. Delivery management experience, including managing small teams, client relationship management, and multiproject oversight. Ability to conduct strategic assessment and transactional consulting with client executives. Strong knowledge of functional budgets and budgeting processes. Experience developing mediumcomplexity financial models and business cases. Proven knowledge across technology and business process domains. Proficiency with MSOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). About You Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills; able to articulate complex ideas and prepare documents for all levels of management. Flexible, fast learner, able to work independently with oversight. Excellent listening and organisational skills with strong attention to detail. Strong timemanagement skills and ability to multitask. Your Education Relevant undergraduate degree with interest in postgraduate learning and development.
