SEO Manager - Kmart Group

Job Title SEO Manager Kmart Group Company Kmart Australia Limited Overview The SEO Manager will develop and execute a comprehensive enterpriseecommerce SEO strategy that drives online traffic and sales growth across both Kmart and Target brands. This crossfunctional role works with Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, and Marketing teams to enhance organic search performance on desktop and mobile platforms. Responsibilities Create, develop, and execute a holistic SEO strategy and ongoing program of work. Develop innovative SEO initiatives to boost organic performance online and instore. Perform comprehensive audits of the Kmart Group portfolio and conduct gap/threat analysis of competitors. Build and optimise a local SEO strategy, including managing Google My Business listings to drive foottraffic via SEO. Research, recommend, and share proactive SEO strategies and tactics to elevate performance. Lead, develop, and engage SEO specialists within the team. Own content strategy and auditing for target.com.au, kmart.com.au, and kmart.co.nz, designing a highperforming SEO content framework. Qualifications 1015 years of experience in a senior SEO role. Extensive expertise in organic content strategy, technical SEO, paidorganic synergies, offsite link building, and SEO for CMS/ecommerce platforms. Proven leadership of technical, content, and linkbuilding SEO teams. Handson technical and content SEO optimisation experience, with agency clientfacing responsibility an asset. Working knowledge of Angular, React, HTML, AJAX, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics, Search Console, enterprise tools (BrightEdge, SEMrush), A/B testing tools (e.g., Clarity), and Screaming Frog.
