Learning Designer

Part-time, full-time or project based - lets shape this together!6 months initial term in MelbourneAre you a learning designer who can distil complex ideas into accessible, engaging content and bring a sharp, visual eye to your work?Were a small, purpose-driven team delivering high-quality training across the healthcare and community sectors. Were looking for someone whos hands-on, collaborative, and confident designing learning thats clear, creative and genuinely useful.Youll work across a variety of projects via our LMS (accessIQ), with the flexibility to shape the role around your strengths whether thats instructional design, graphic design, or both.What you will do:Design and develop digital learning content including eLearning modules, assessments, instructor-led resources, visuals, and multimedia assets.Translate technical or clinical content into plain language and learner-friendly formats.Create or adapt infographics, illustrations and interactive activities to support learning.Upload, test and maintain content in the LMS, ensuring accessibility and usability standards are met.Collaborate with SMEs, content teams and other key stakeholders.Contribute to refining internal content processes, templates and style guides.What you will bring:Solid instructional design experience.Strong writing and editing skills (plain language is key).Experience with authoring tools and LMS platforms.A collaborative approach and the ability to juggle competing deadlines.Curiosity, adaptability and learner-centred thinking.We value lived experience and non-traditional pathways formal qualifications are welcome but not essential.
