Our analytical approach towards architectural design, commercial and residential development creates the diversity of end product upon which we have built our reputation. This flexibility sees us deliver projects ranging from small lot subdivisions and complex renovations through to High End Homes. About the Role: Your primary role as an Architectural Graduate / Architectural Documenter will be to assist our diverse and dynamic team in documenting and detailing designs for our list of projects across our portfolio. You will also be involved within the Concept Design and Town planning process within the firm. As part of the role, you will be exposed to every facet of the Design Development process and assist in guiding the organisation through creating innovative spaces for people to enjoy and focus on current available technologies, materials and efficient processes. The role would suit a highly motivated individual wishing to further progress their career and knowledge of the property industry. We require someone who is ready to start work in our Melbourne office (Docklands 3008) full-time (38 hours per week). The successful candidate will enjoy a vibrant and flexible working environment shared with open minded and result driven colleagues. You will be responsible for: The preparation of design concepts and relevant documentation in support of various residential and commercial projects; Preparation of detailed documentation for the use of consultants and stakeholders; Coordinating/project managing consultants to ensure timely and positive project outcomes; Assisting client management with the successful delivery of projects; Developing positive relationships with suppliers and other key stakeholders involved in the design process; The provision of practical and expert Interior design advice to our multi-discipline team; Create Visualisations & mood boards as part of the concept and tender stage; and Acquire, systemize, curate and update an internal library Town planning, Building Documentation, Assist with liaising with Authorities, Landscape plans, Assistance with Social Media and research of products / latest trends, Interior drawings / elevations, Creative visualisation for client and council purpose. To be successful in the role you will need: A relevant tertiary Australian qualification in Architectural Documentation or Architecture or similar; A minimum of 2-3 years experience as an Architectural Draftsperson / Architectural Graduate in private industry; Ability to prepare clear and concise documentation; Proven capacity for conceptual thinking with an eye for detail and strong task focus; A high level of professionalism and technical understanding when dealing with all relevant stakeholders; Excellent verbal communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills; Proficient ability to use AutoCAD (experience essential); Basic ability to use Sketch up; Basic understanding of Microsoft Office & Adobe Suite; Demonstrated experience in small and medium density housing projects as well as custom design; Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously in a fast paced environment; Mid project management, problem solving and project delivery skills; and The ability to place the clients needs ahead of all other elements.
