Injury and Wellness Manager Location : Melbourne CBD Working Hours : Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Employment Type : Temporary (October 2024 - December 2024, with potential to extend) Flexible Working Arrangements Competitive wage on offer About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Injury and Wellness Manager to join our team on a temporary basis. You will be responsible for managing the WorkCover Self-Insurance licence, overseeing early intervention programs, and administering WorkCover claims. This role also involves providing support in the return-to-work process for both work-related and non-work-related injuries, illnesses, and conditions. You will act as the point of escalation for complex injury and wellness cases, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with self-insurance and government regulations. Key Responsibilities : Manage the WorkCover Self-Insurance licence Lead the early intervention strategy and program Administer and manage WorkCover claims Assist in the return-to-work process for injured or ill employees (work and non-work related) Serve as the primary escalation point for complex injury and wellness matters Ensure compliance with self-insurance regulations and government policies Skills and Experience Required : Essential : Previous experience as an Injury and Wellness Manager Proven background in self-insurance and claims management Strong experience in managing early intervention programs Prior experience within the government sector is essential Why Apply?
