The role will usually impact beyond the work area or professional field.Responsibilities Develop/maintain a safe learning environment. Teach students to the satisfactory standard for the AMEB exams. Pace lessons so that children are engaged and the amount of time they can spend on tasks is maximised. Ensure that students understand the subject matter and cater for all levels of student ability. Use a variety of teaching methods to ensure all students remain engaged. Carry out assessment to inform planning and teaching. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and achievement. Contribute to the college music program including, leading ensembles and rehearsals as appropriate.
