Reporting to the Executive General Manager - People and Safety, this newly created role will partner with the two Executive General Managers, supporting over 2,000 team members, and other key senior leaders to deliver on Kinetic''s People Plan at an operational level. The role will lead a team of People and Culture, HSEQ and Training professionals, to provide advice, guidance and support that results in contemporary, sustainable and safe employment conditions for our people, under a commercial lens.This is a hands-on role where you will lead an experienced team and roll up your sleeves as required.Key responsibilities:Bring together and lead the functional areas within the team to ensure an exceptional experience across the employee lifecycle.Work with Centres of Excellence to develop programs that improve the employee experience.Lead the HSEQ agenda across the region, developing and executing strategies in support of the overall business plan.Create a safety culture that enables the reduction of incidents, accidents, and workers compensation claims.Rollout people initiatives and lead cyclical activities for the region, such as wellbeing, talent identification and succession planning, employee engagement and performance and development.Ensure the effective delivery of driver training in the region.Identify training needs and solutions across all areas of the workforce.The boxes you''ll tick:Bachelors degree in a Human Resources or Health and Safety, or a related field highly desirable.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence and collaborate at all levels of the organisation.Ability to work at pace in an ambitious, progressive business.Deep understanding of contemporary people management practices.Experience as a general human resources practitioner with exposure to health and safety, injury management, learning and development, and employee relations.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.How you apply:Kinetic is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and our people represent the community which we service.
