Drive the implementation of the Child Safeguarding Strategy, embedding trauma-informed practices and child-centred decision-making Embed systems to ensure decision-making and policy align to the principles of child safeguarding and trauma-informed practice Build organisational capability to assess and manage risks to children, including the management of child related investigations Lead the development of a healthy reporting culture where concerns about child safety and wellbeing are raised and addressed confidently Provide expert guidance on child safe standards, reporting obligations, and high-risk safety matters to senior leaders and teams Promote continuous improvement by strengthening quality assurance systems, monitoring compliance, and ensuring MACSEYE meets legislative requirements QualificationsWere looking for a proven leader with the expertise, knowledge, and passion to champion child safeguarding and drive best practice across MACSEYE. Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, or another human services discipline Strong experience leading workplace investigations and developing policy, programs, and strategy at a senior level In-depth understanding of Victorian Child Safe Standards, Reportable Conduct Scheme, and mandatory reporting obligations Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence change across a multi-site organisation Highly organised, with the capability to manage competing priorities while embedding trauma-informed, child-centred practices Whats in it for you?
