Clerk Grade 5/62x Temporary Full-Time up to 30 March 2027Surry HillsAbout usThe NSW Police Force (NSWPF) is one of the largest police forces in the western world, with more than 20,000 employees, including more than 4,000 administrative employees who support the sworn officers that provide a range of law and order services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to the socially, geographically and culturally diverse community of NSW.About the roleWe have an opportunity for two Information Review Officers to be part of our Hurt On Duty & Claims Management Unit, Health, Safety & Wellbeing Command. The Information Review Officer coordinates the collection and release of information in accordance with Police Act 1990, Privacy & Personal Information Protection Act 1998, Health Records & Information Privacy Act 2002 and any other relevant legislation, privacy principles and policy and procedures within the NSWPF, Health, Safety & Wellbeing Command. The role is responsible for reviewing and responding to GIPA applications, subpoenas, requests from various tribunals and informal requests for information in collaboration with key stakeholders to makes decisions regarding the release of information in accordance with legislation, policies and procedures.View the relevant role description for more information on this role (e.g. essential requirements, key accountabilities, key challenges and capabilities required for the role)What we can offer youAt NSWPF our people have access to a range of benefits that help balance life at work and at home.
