Ongoing Full-Time Located in Parramatta with flexible work arrangements available Salary: Clerk Grade 11/12 with salary ranging from $149,739 to $173,174 + super and annual leave loading Lead innovative finance training that strengthens capability across schools and the wider Department About the roleIn this key leadership role, you will manage a high-performing team to design and deliver targeted, impactful training programs that strengthen financial management practices and finance systems capability across a broad range of stakeholders.Working in close partnership with Finance teams and key stakeholders across the Department, you will identify capability gaps, prioritise training needs, and deliver solutions that support strategic reform and key organisational priorities.For further information please click hereto view the role descriptionAbout youYou are an experienced leader with strong capability expertise with a passion for finance.You understand how to translate complex financial concepts into practical, engaging learning experiences that drive behavioural change and improve performance.The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Proven experience designing and delivering training programs for diverse stakeholder groups. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted partnerships across complex environments. Experience using modern learning technologies and contemporary adult learning methodologies. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to identify capability gaps and design targeted interventions. Proven people leadership experience, with a track record of building high-performing and collaborative teams. The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results within tight timeframes. Key knowledge and experience Extensive experience in the design and delivery of training and capability uplift strategies for a wide range of stakeholders Substantial experience managing teams and working collaboratively with a wide range of senior stakeholders to develop and deliver training and achieve outcomes Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Departments Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Departments Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people. Essential requirements of the role Qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, skills and experience. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
