This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to working on the delivery of the businesses most critical infrastructure energy projects. These projects are key to the energy transition of the national electricity system to a renewables-based system. Key Responsibilities Draft, review and negotiate contracts related to transmission infrastructure projects and connections to the grid. Provide legal assistance on the administration of contracts during the project delivery phase. Provide transactional support across a variety of key deals valued at $50-$100 million per year Advise on the implications of changes in the legal and regulatory environment, particularly in relation to The National Electricity Laws and Rules. Build and maintain solid relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Ideal Candidate Admitted to practice in Australia or New Zealand. Minimum 5 years PAE with experience in projects from time spent in private practice and/or inhouse. Prior experience providing regulatory advice would be highly advantageous. Strong commercial drafting, reviewing and negotiating skills Ability to work well as a team and autonomously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
