Our work spans domestic, family & sexual violence, child protection, family law, and victims of crime compensation . Guided by our 20252030 Strategic Plan, we combine legal services with advocacy, law reform, and community education to create lasting impact. The Role This is a newly created leadership role , offering the opportunity to grow into senior management while making a difference in womens access to justice. Youll: Provide high-quality legal advice, casework & representation in complex matters Supervise and mentor a team of 4 solicitors Act as Principal Legal Officer when required Lead community outreach and deliver legal education Build relationships with stakeholders across legal, government & community sectors Regular travel, including overnight stays, will form part of your outreach work. About You You are a values-driven leader who thrives in dynamic environments and supports your team to succeed. To be successful, you will have: Admission as a solicitor in Australia + eligibility for an NT Practising Certificate 4+ years post-admission experience in relevant practice areas Experience (or strong interest) in DFSV, family law or child protection Skills in trauma-informed, culturally safe practice, ideally with Aboriginal communities Leadership and mentoring experience within a legal practice Additional requirements: Ochre Card (WWCC), National Police Clearance, Manual Drivers Licence.
