Reporting To : Lead Business Analyst Direct Reports : None Department : Delivery Position Type : Permanent fulltime Last Updated : 2 July 2025 Purpose The Senior Business Analyst drives successful insurance solution delivery by shaping clear, fit-for-purpose requirements, improving analysis practices, and aligning outcomes with customer and business goals. Responsibilities Delivery successful customer solutions through ownership of end-to-end requirements and functional designs. Build strong and trusted customer relationships by providing leadership and expertise through all stages of the customer lifecycle. Collaborate across teams to ensure solutions meet intended outcomes with testable, traceable requirements aligned to customer expectations. Contribute to continual improvement of our business analysis practice through self-development, best practice implementations, and peer support. Comply with company policies and procedures on the handling of personal data, data confidentiality and information security. Skills and Experience The role requires the following skills and experience: 7+ years of Business Analysis experience, ideally within the insurance industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Experience consulting across multiple projects or customer engagements, with the ability to adapt to varying contexts and team structures. Proficiency in business process modelling, requirements analysis, functional documentation, and stakeholder communication. Working knowledge of agile delivery practices, including user story creation, backlog refinement, and sprint planning. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and outcome-oriented thinking. Experience validating solutions through functional testing, user acceptance testing, and early feedback cycles. Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and diagramming tools (e.g. Visio, Lucidchart). Nice to Have Experience working with SaaS insurance platforms or core policy administration systems. Exposure to data integration, reporting, or automation in the insurance domain. Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile delivery (e.g. Scrum Master). #J-18808-Ljbffr
