We take pride in delivering quality masonry craftsmanship across residential and commercial projects. As our business expands, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Bricklayer to join our team. About the Role As a Bricklayer, you will lay bricks, pre-cut stone, and other types of building blocks in mortar to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches, and other structures. You will work across a variety of projects, bringing precision, professionalism, and a strong work ethic to every site. Key Duties & Responsibilities Studying plans and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions, and installation procedures Erecting and dismantling restricted-height scaffolding Sealing foundations with damp-resistant materials and spreading layers of mortar to serve as base and binder for blocks using trowels Laying bricks in rows, designs, and shapes, and spreading mortar between joints Embedding blocks in mortar and removing excess mortar Checking vertical and horizontal alignment Cutting, shaping, and polishing stones and bricks using machines and hand tools, and shaping bricks to fit irregular spaces Conducting quality checks on completed work Requirements AQF Certificate III in Bricklaying/Blocklaying,or AQF Certificate IV At least 1 year experience as a Bricklayer Proven experience as a qualified bricklayer Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and building plans Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Valid driver''s licence (preferred) White Card (Construction Induction) mandatory Registration or licensing may be required
