About the Business Unit: Corrections Victoria has committed to establishing the Barwon Precinct, aimed at developing shared operating models among four prisons to improve prisoner outcomes and create efficiencies. As a key component of this initiative, the Facility and Assets group was established to provide local and contracted facility and asset management services with consistent and transparent service levels.About the Role: Working as part of the Facility and Assets group, the Facility and Assets Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness of all designated areas.Some of your duties will include:Performing general cleaning to designated areas within the Barwon PrecinctAbility to work autonomously or in a team environment in a large facilityAbility to maintain a cleaning schedule and basic knowledge of risk assessments in relation to maintenance and OH&S regulations.About You:As our ideal candidate, you will possess:Experience in commercial cleaning and/or maintenanceThe ability to follow job and safety instructionsMath skills for measuring out cleaning fluidsThe ability to work alone without supervision or as part of a teamCompliance with health and safety legislative requirements.Qualifications:Certificate III in Cleaning Operations is highly desirable, but not mandatory.How to Apply: Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
