We''re now looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Clinical Governance Lead to champion clinical quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement across our Health Services network. This is a permanent part-time role (3 days a week). What Youll Be Doing Lead Clinical Governance Excellence Drive and evolve GMHBAs clinical governance framework across Health Services. Provide independent oversight of clinical risk, compliance, governance, and quality assurance activities. Champion best-practice governance, patient safety, and evidence-based care. Lead clinical incident and risk management processes from identification through to resolution. Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, including AGPAL, QIP, and Safer Care Victoria requirements. Influence Quality & Continuous Improvement Design and embed innovative, evidence-based continuous improvement systems. Lead quality improvement initiatives that enhance safety, clinical outcomes, and operational effectiveness. Use clinical insights, audits, and performance data to identify trends and drive meaningful change. Foster a culture where quality, accountability, and patient-centred care thrive. Partner, Influence & Advise Collaborate with clinicians, operational leaders, executives, and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality governance outcomes. Prepare impactful reports and insights for executive leadership, committees, and Board stakeholders. Build strong relationships with accreditation bodies, regulators, and industry partners. Provide trusted expert advice that supports informed decision-making across the organisation. About You You are a strategic and solutions-focused clinical governance professional who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional relationship-building skills. You''re comfortable navigating complexity, influencing senior stakeholders, and balancing operational realities with governance excellence. Youll Bring A tertiary qualification in Nursing (RN/EN) or significant equivalent experience in clinical governance or quality leadership. Current unrestricted AHPRA (or relevant professional) registration. Strong knowledge of clinical governance frameworks, accreditation standards, patient safety, and healthcare compliance. Demonstrated experience managing clinical risk, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives. Exceptional analytical, reporting, and communication skills, including experience preparing Board-level reports. A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and inspire across multidisciplinary teams. Why GMHBA?
