Senior Hospital Scientist - Pain Clinical Research

Overview The Michael J Cousins Pain Management & Research Centre is seeking an experienced clinical researcher to join our team, working to improve the lives of people living with pain. This temporary role offers parttime hours, up to four days per week, initially until 31 December 2026 to support several clinical trials and research projects within our multidisciplinary pain research group. Employment Type Temporary; Part Time until 31 December 2026 (possibility of ongoing employment). Position Classification Senior Scientific Officer. Remuneration $58.96 $77.39 per hour. Hours Per Week 30. Location The Michael J Cousins Pain Management & Research Centre, Royal North Shore Hospital, St Leonards. What You''ll Be Doing The scientist is expected to provide highlevel research support to the department of the Pain Management & Research Centre and other pain clinics in NSW, including advice and resources regarding research methodology and data analysis. Required Qualifications A Bachelor degree or higher in a biomedical science or a related field of research, with demonstrated experience working with human research subjects. Experience working effectively within collaborative research teams, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.
