Dear Prospective Applicants,We invite applications for casual academic positionswithin theDiscipline of Social Work and Policy Studiesin the Sydney School of Education and Social Workfor Semester 1, 2026.Key Information Before Applying:Visa & Workload LimitsStudent visa holders must comply with their visa''s work-hour restrictions.Australian citizens and permanent residents may not teach more than three Units of Study (UOS).Pay Rates (Indicative)TU2 Tutorial: $182.54TU4 Repeat Tutorial: $121.69M05 Marking: $60.51/hrA02 Other Academic Activities (including Capstone Supervision): $60.51/hrContracts & TrainingOngoing Casual Academics with active contracts must still complete the EOI form (no new contract needed).All casual academics must complete all training required by the Faculty and the School.Teaching AllocationsUnit allocations may change due to enrolment fluctuations up to the census date.LocationStaff must remain in Sydney for the duration of the semester, including exams. Remote overseas work is not permitted.ApplicationsOnly one application per person will be accepted.
