Contract from 02/12/2024 - 24/12/2025 | Brisbane QLD Location | State Government Agency | Full time position Contract from 02/12/2024 until 24/12/2025 State Government Agency Brisbane Location About the company Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Technical Report Writer . This position is located in their busy Brisbane, QLD office for an initial contract from 02/12/2024 until 24/12/2025. About the Position The Report Writer will perform enhancements to existing reports and create new reports for a statewide information system. These reports are developed using Microsofts SQL Server Reporting Services software (SSRS). The requirement is for the delivery of Technical Report Writer Services associated with all phases of the application development lifecycle, including migration and enhancements to numerous initiatives, which include, but are not limited to: User Access Excursion Planner SATE (Senior Assessments and Tertiary Entrance) Other approved initiatives and enhancements Duties Delivering Business Information Systems and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) over the Software Development Life Cycle, including their architecture, design, development, and delivery. Application maintenance and development services using .NET skills. Working with other teams within the Information & Technologies Branch such as Applications Environments, Database Operations, Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP), Enterprise/Solution Architects, etc. Requirements/Skills Demonstrated experience in delivering Business Information Systems and APIs. Proficiency in: SQL Server 2012 2017 Microsoft SQL Server (including SQL Azure) Microsoft .NET 4 4.5.x and .Net Core Windows Server Team Foundation Server/Azure Devops Microsoft Azure Services SharePoint 2010 2013 PingFed Reporting Services 2016 Experience with web-based applications developed using Microsoft .NET frameworks with languages and frameworks such as: C# Javascript JQuery TSQL Angular XML ASP.NET (MVC & Entity Framework) TypeScript Minimum five years demonstrated experience in Microsoft ASP.NET software development.
