North West Community Services Inc. (NWCS) is seeking a dedicated Work Connect Project Officer to join our Family and Community Connections Team. This role is crucial for our mission to build a stronger community by providing programs and services that create employment and training pathways for vulnerable young people and adults. The officer will also engage local businesses to create opportunities for clients, ensuring they receive the support needed to succeed.Apply Now Work Conditions Education: Tertiary qualifications in social work, social science, community services, or a relevant human services degree. Experience: At least five years of industry experience working with community and business, including delivering person-centered case management and group programs. Skills: Demonstrated ability in community development, networking, and responding to diverse stakeholders. Must have highly developed communication, organizational, and time management skills. Certifications: Valid drivers license, fully insured vehicle, National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and a First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain). Full COVID-19 vaccination is also required. Desirable: Aboriginality or bilingual/bicultural background is a plus. Responsibilities Location: North West Growth Area, with a focus on Blacktown North West. Compensation: SCHADS Award- Level 4, with salary packaging options.
