Automation Systems Engineer page is loaded Automation Systems Engineer Apply locations APAC, AU, Broadmeadows, CSL Behring time type Full time posted on Posted Today job requisition id R-230626 Your RoleOur Automation team at CSL provide MES, Automation and control systems expertise for the CSL Behring Broadmeadows Manufacturing site.A Fixed Term position (until September 2025) has become available for a Senior Automation Engineer (internally known as a Value Stream Recipe Owner). Based at Broadmeadows, you will be responsible for providing project and operational support to the Packaging area.Your ResponsibilitiesReporting to the APAC Execution System Recipe Owner - Packaging, you will:Support capital project teams in the development, integration, testing and acceptance of the automation scope of capital projectsImplementation of Recipe Driven Execution Systems solutionsProviding Operational Support of the Manufacturing Automation Control SystemsConducting preventative maintenance and troubleshooting complex computer / automation systemsHave some flexibility in working hours to meet business needs, with some after hours and on call works expected ad-hoc to support our manufacturing plantYour ExperienceDegree in the discipline of mechatronics, electronics engineering or a similar field with a focus on controls and automation.Experience in the design, development, installation, commissioning and/or servicing of factory automation and automation process control systems.Proven project lifecycle skills including experience in document development, software and change implementation.Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLCs, Siemens TIA Portal (other PLC brands would be of benefit e.g. Schneider, OMRON)Knowledge of SCADA / HMI Packages (WinCC, TIA HMI)Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) would be an advantageKnowledge of serialisation as a concept would be an advantageExperience in cGxP qualification and regulated environments would be an advantageTo apply submit your CV no later than Monday 27th MayOur BenefitsWe encourage you to make your well-being a priority.
