The purpose of this role is to support the Case Management teams by providing up-to-date technical guidance on the compensation payment schemes and assisting in their administration. This position operates in a customer centric environment that focuses on the pro-active management of claims. This will be a full time, permanent or 12 month contract position based in the Tweed Heads office, with flexibility to work from home. Relocation allowance for eligible candidates.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify continuous improvement opportunities and work with the team on solutions to maximise the effectiveness of case management.Ensure claims teams achieve performance and KPA targets as set out as part of the BU performance framework.In conjunction with the Team Leader identify, develop and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures.ABOUT YOUStrong technical experience in workers compensation claimsProven experience coaching & mentoring case managers in the workers compensation industryDemonstrated understanding and application of relevant NSW Workers compensation laws and the associated regulationsYou have previous experience working as a case manager or a technical specialist backgroundTertiary studies in Allied Health or Legislation is desirableWHAT WE OFFERWe stand together as equals.
