This role offers diverse responsibilities, centered on spearheading the security and risk management operations of the Centre. Your primary objective will be ensuring the utmost safety and security for our employees, contractors, retailers, and valued customers.Day to day, youll be responsible for:Proactively planning and delivering priorities from our Safety Framework, providing a safe and secure environment that exceeds customer expectations, whilst promoting safety as an integral part of the customer experienceProactive management, reporting, and response to hazard identification, incidents, emergencies, near misses and claimsManage safety audits and inspection programs.Manage compliance with all security & health & safety policies, procedures, & practices at the CentreAttend to Centre emergencies; ensuring risk and security staff and contractors are trained to deal with all emergencies.Management of external service providers and contract security staffDevelop strong relationships and work with local Police, WHS Regulators, Fire Brigade and Ambulance Services to develop operational and emergency protocols.As a part of our asset team, youll also have Duty Management responsibilities where youll be required to work a late night or weekend shift (on a roster), which will be balanced with a day off in lieu.What will set you apart from the rest?You bring a strong background in security, risk management, and workplace health & safety, coupled with a leadership approach defined by warmth, approachability, and engagement, maintaining composure and thoughtfulness under pressure while also communicating confidently and articulately to ensure clarity in all interactions.Technically, you will have the following skills and experience:Qualifications or related experience in Work Health and SafetySolid experience in risk & security management in retail, property, hospitality, entertainment, leisure, or other services industryAbility to mitigate & manage risk, manage incident response, and follow through with reporting, authority interaction, & assisting with insurance claims managementExperience & technical knowledge of CCTV & Access Control systems, & visitor & contractor management systemsWhat sets us apart from the rest?A collaborative, welcoming, inclusive, and supportive cultureLife Leave additional five days paid leave to use however you like on top of your four weeks annual leave.Diverse career paths - Opportunities to cross-skill and develop working with over 70 different professions within the team.Free onsite parkingOur diverse and inclusive workforce is not only something we are proud of, but something were committed to.
