We have local branches in all states and are present in 100 countries around the world.The RoleFreyssinet Australia is seeking the services of a highly qualified, competent and experienced Manager to manage our coating activity on the east coast. Reporting to the National Remedial Manager, this position is based in Sydney and provides support to our Business Development Managers but also involves setting up projects with adequate resources and equipment. Part of your role will also require ongoing support of those projects until completion.Lead by example and ensure safety cultureTendering and precontract supportWorkforce planning, training and talent acquisition to ensure staffing requirements are met.Collaboration with business development to scope and win projects.Set the standards for safety, monitor performance and ensuring good safety practices are adopted for all projects.Strong client relationships to ensure expectations are defined and understood by all parties.Champion and promote additional services, products and services for clients.Support innovation and technology.Engage with peers across the business to share best practice and connect people.Establish and manage the required arrangements with sub contractors and equipment providers.Review monthly cost, forecast and other KPIs and report to management.Ensure all projects are performed and closed out in accordance with established standards.Skills/ ExperienceStrong attitude towards safetyTrade Qualification - Cert III PaintingExtensive supervisory experienceScoping and setting up work frontsA Minimum of five (10) years experience in the Blasting and Protective Coating industryReading, interpreting and correctly executing project specificationsNACE QualificationsThe ability to communicate effectively with clients and senior managersShort term mobilityGood notion of cost control and forecastingAbout YouResults DrivenEntrepreneur mindset you like to think outside of the box and keep an open mindGood relationship skills, Communication and Teamwork.Smart, willing to learn and to growth:High level of Planning & Organisation skillsAttention to DetailExperience managing a team You must create an Indeed account before continuing to the company website to apply #J-18808-Ljbffr
