The Finance team is a professional, motivated and focused team delivering sound financial advice and a flexible and practical financial and administration service to all areas of the firm.The roleWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a National Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team based in Sydney on a permanent, full time basis.Key responsibilitiesWorking within an experienced and supportive team, this role will see you:Processing American Express and employee expense claimsReview expense claims to ensure they comply with firm policyEscalate no compliance with National Accounts Payable Team LeaderComply with auditor requestsMonthly expense and transaction reportingActively analyse and ensure all expense claims are submitted by due dateInternal cross charge journalsProcess invoicing and ensuring they are paid in accordance with our relevant payment terms, when requiredAssist with general legal accounting and accounts payable functions as directed by the National Accounts Payable Team LeaderSkills & ExperienceTo be successful in this role you will ideally have:Minimum 3 years'' experience in an accounts payable or associated accounts administration role. Experience in a professional services environment is desirable but not essential.Strong computer skills requiredIntermediate Excel skills (including the ability to use advanced functions such as pivot tables, vlookups, graphs/charts etc.)Intermediate use of other Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook and PowerPointIntermediate use of a Client Management System (CMS) or practice management system (Aderant Expert is preferable)Chrome River or Expense Management System experience preferredHigh level of attention to detailStrong communication and stakeholder management skills#LI-CBHow to Apply?We prefer to work directly with candidates, if you are interested in this role, please click the Apply button or contact the consultant, details below, for more information.
