The ideal candidate possesses over 5 years of enterprise-level software development, testing, and QA experience, complemented by a Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics, Automotive, Computer Science, or a related field. Proficiency in system and software engineering practices, coupled with a background in ISO standards and regulatory requirements, will be paramount in executing this role effectively. Responsibilities include spearheading software QA processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing guidance on modern test strategies. Essential skills include expertise in software version control systems, impeccable documentation abilities, and adept stakeholder management. Preferred candidates will have experience with RAMS, Functional Safety Rail (SIL) rated software development, and familiarity with real-time or distributed systems technology.
