We are proudly part of Japan Post www.tollgroup.com Join our Group HSE Team for this Perth based, hands-on HSE role with a focus on transport and logistics. You will be working with a highly customer focused team of up to 50 drivers/operatives on a customer owned site. This role requires the expertise of a self-aware,strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, who cancontinually drive safety in a positive direction through coaching and guidance and theimplementation of our H&S Management plans. Key accountability and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Take the lead in coaching and mentoring yourstakeholder group on HSE strategies and activities. Implement the H&S management plan and be accountable for driving HSE improvements thoroughaudits, risk assessments, inspection, and management reviews. Delivertargeted training programs to develop HSE capability of the operational teams in a way that engages and influences the wider workforce. Conduct incident investigationsto determine the cause of incidents and advise on corrective actions. Provide insight to the onsite customers and identifytrends and risk through engagement with Operations team with a view to providing solution. Implement HSE training and communication programs. To be successful in this role, you will have Knowledge/Experience: Cert IV or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. 5+years practical experience in a HSE role with a focus on transport and logistics in WA. Understanding of Heavy vehicle compliance in WA and HSE legislation, industry standards and management system standards. Excellent written and communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with fellow team members, management, stakeholders and customers.
