The Team Our Insurance & Health team is headed up by 33 industry leading principals across six states. Within the insurance space our award-winning team is known for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional client service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas. The principals that head up the team for this particular role are Hubert Wajszel and Scott Shelly. The Role Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Melbourne Insurance & Health team working on a range of health law matters. The role will provide opportunities for involvement acting for hospitals, clinics, medical and allied health professionals and other health care providers in a variety of claims, disciplinary proceedings, litigated proceedings and coronial inquests. The Successful Candidate We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills, experience and attributes: health law experience would be ideal but we are also open to candidates from a personal injury background (plaintiff or defendant); ability to manage your own file load; ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service; collaborative and pragmatic approach.
