What you''ll doThe Market Development Rep (MDR) will generate new business through outbound calls and targeted emails to potential clients. The MDR qualifies prospective customers through targeted questions about their business strategy then leveraging this information to align and sell DocuSigns product offerings. This position spends roughly 80% of the time on the phone prospecting new clients. Market Development Reps will receive hands on training with an emphasis on strategic selling and a focus on researching targeted accounts. This position is a great way for individuals to gain in depth experience in a rapidly growing SaaS company.This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Manager, Market Development Representatives.ResponsibilityMake outbound calls to prospects who reside in one of DocuSigns core vertical markets, offering tailored solutions to solve and improve business process problemsSchedule appointments between prospects and our Account Executives across SMB, Mid-Market or Enterprise verticalsUse CRM strategically to record information and identify further opportunities in your assigned territoryWork closely with marketing to create email and LinkedIn campaigns to increase company and personal brand awareness Job DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)Positions at DocuSign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job.
