CQ Medicentre is looking for an experienced, organised, and motivated full-time Practice Manager to join their thriving team. CQ Medicentre consists of two well-established Practices located on the Northside and Southside of Rockhampton. Both practices include a group of highly experienced and dedicated GPs, who love being doctors and care about the local area and community. Responsibilities Include: Manage the efficient day to day running, administration and customer service of the PracticeWork with our Operations Manager to develop, implement, and maintain strategic business planningAssist in the recruitment and retention of GPs and Allied Health ProfessionalsLead the development of the nursing and reception teams including structuring roles, recruitment and retention of staff, and the delivery of trained and committed care and services to our patientsDeveloping and updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance for maintaining accreditation standards and Medicare requirementsProvide regular communication to the whole of the practice team through staff meetingsUnderstand training needs within the Practice and facilitate professional development Handling and resolving of patient complaintsWork with our accounts team to ensure all financial reports, information and payroll details are provided in a timely and efficient mannerWork with support teams as needed - marketing, IT, HR etc.Manage all aspects of the business and report as necessary Liaise with providers for supplier and customer related business matters. About You You love general practice and know the ins and outs of running a practice smoothly. You believe in cultivating a warm work environment and a positive patient journey. Your skills and experience include: Previous leadership position or the ability to enter a leadership role with confidence Understanding of business operations, financial reporting and compliance in the primary healthcare setting, and reporting to meetingsAbility to master new processes and IT systems; experience with Medical Director and/or Best Practice software highly desirableSkilled at multi-tasking, problem-solving and time managementExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain absolute confidentialityDemonstrated commitment to ongoing professional self-developmentAdhere to Government regulations regarding COVID vaccination requirements Why Join Us?
