FIFO/Hybird Perth 2:2 Roster Tanami ProjectRUC is a diversified underground mining contractor with an extensive portfolio of Development, Production, Shaft Sinking and Raiseboring projects throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific.As a Project Director your focus will be to effectively manage project operations by providing technical and functional leadership that will ensure effective implementation of the project within the required scope, budget, and time frames.We are continuing to build on our reputation and with this comes winning new projects. Due to these project successes, we require experienced Project Director to join our Shaft Division on the Tanami (NT).About the RoleReporting to the Associate Director Shafts and Underground Construction, your key accountabilities will include:Coordinate internal resources and third parties/ vendors to execute projectsEnsure project controls and reporting responsibilities are in placeAssist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityCoordinate and determine resource availability and allocationPerform risk management to minimise project risksEstablish control mechanisms to prevent reoccurrenceManage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniquesEstablish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendorsMeet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysisDevelop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff membersOverseeing quality assurance and quality control activitiesOverseeing recruitment, development, and retaining high performing team membersSafety meetings, Training standards and monthly safety reports analysed and continuously improvedSkills & Experience:Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or Engineering related discipline.10+ years experience within a similar role mining and construction projects.Ideally, experienced in shaft sinking projects.Successful delivery of projects whilst working for a contractor organisation.Sound understanding of project finance and contract administration.Strong commercial and managerial acumen and collaboration with client and project team membersSound knowledge of AUS/NS Safety StandardsBenefits of Working with RUCSalary Sacrifice toward superSuper paid on all hours workedIncome Protection Insurance with no exclusions or out-of-work recreational activitiesGenerous long service incentive programApplications are welcome from candidates that want to be a part of an organisation that values safety awareness and appropriate workplace behaviours.At RUC, you are not just a number, you are part of a supportive team with opportunities for progression and development extending throughout the globe.As an equal-opportunity employer, we value diversity and encourage applications from all personnel who are committed to a physically and mentally safe workplace #J-18808-Ljbffr
